Sconie: Cine Canvas ("the app", "the Service") is a free app provided at no cost and intended for use as is. This page explains how information is collected, used and disclosed when you use the Service.
By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. We do not use or share your information with anyone except as described here.
The app does not require an account and does not ask you for personally identifiable information. Everything you create or save in the app — the photos and videos you edit, the movie and TV backdrops you save for editing, your favorite titles, your recent searches and your language choice — is kept only in the app's local database and storage on your device. We do not run a server of our own, and this user-created content is never uploaded, shared, or visible to anyone else. You can delete any of it at any time from within the app, and removing the app removes all of it.
The app relies on third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device, for example to load content, serve advertising, measure app usage, or report crashes. Links to the privacy policies of the third-party service providers used by the app:
To pick a photo or video to edit, the app opens the iOS photo picker. The app only receives the items you select there and cannot browse the rest of your library. When you tap Save on an edited photo or video, iOS asks for permission to add items to your photo library; the app uses that permission only to add the file you chose to save, and it never reads your library. Sharing happens only when you tap Share, through the iOS share sheet, to the destination you choose.
The app may show ads served by AdMob. On iOS, the app asks for your permission through the system App Tracking Transparency prompt before it uses the advertising identifier (IDFA). If you decline, ads can still be shown but are not personalised with that identifier. You can change this choice at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
If an error occurs in the app, we may collect data and information on your device through third-party products (Log Data). Log Data may include your device's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app at the time of the error, the time and date of use, and other statistics. Log Data never includes the photos and videos you edit or the backdrops, favorites and searches you save in the app.
Cookies are small data files commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. They are sent to your browser by the websites you visit and stored on your device.
The Service does not use cookies itself. Third-party code used by the app may use cookies to collect information and improve its services; this includes the embedded YouTube player that plays trailers. You can accept or refuse these cookies; refusing them may stop trailers from playing.
We may employ third-party companies and individuals for the following reasons:
These third parties have access to the information described above only to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf, and they are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
We use commercially acceptable means to protect the information handled by the Service. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, so we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
The Service may contain links to other sites, such as the YouTube pages of the trailers it plays. These sites are not operated by us, and we strongly advise you to review their privacy policies. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party site or service.
The Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe your child has provided personal information through a third-party service used by the app, please contact us so that we can take the necessary action.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any change is posted on this page, so please review it periodically.
